LinkPass Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 22, 2026
LinkPass is a Chrome extension that helps you tailor your resume to LinkedIn job
postings. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.
Data we collect
- Account information: email address and password (stored as a secure hash).
- Resume data: text extracted from resumes you upload (PDF or DOCX).
- Job data: job titles, companies, descriptions, and URLs from LinkedIn pages you view or paste manually.
- Usage data: tailoring and ATS scoring activity tied to your account.
- Payment metadata: subscription plan and payment status via Razorpay (we do not store card details).
How we use data
- Authenticate your account and provide the service.
- Generate tailored resumes and ATS match scores using AI.
- Process subscriptions and credit balances.
- Improve prompts and product quality (job descriptions may be stored for analysis).
Third-party services
- OpenAI: resume and job description text is sent to generate tailored output and scores.
- Razorpay: payment processing for subscriptions.
- LinkedIn: the extension reads job details from pages you open on linkedin.com in your browser.
Data storage and security
Data is stored on secure servers and transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens
are stored locally in your browser by the extension.
Data retention
We retain account, resume, and usage data while your account is active. Contact us
to request deletion of your account and associated data.
Your choices
- You can paste job details manually instead of automatic LinkedIn detection.
- You can replace or stop uploading resumes at any time.
- Uninstalling the extension removes locally stored tokens from your browser.
